Volunteer Needs From: Axe of Service

Tynkertopia is hosting a booth at Art in the Park over Labor Day weekend 2026. The event is held at Wheeler Park (by the library and the town hall). We are the only booth offering children's activities to visitors.

We usually see over 500 kids each day and our booth is always swamped. Please volunteer a few hours of your time to help us serve our kids. We have lots of fun!

Volunteers at Tynkertopia assist with a variety of tasks, including supporting hands-on STEAM learning activities, guiding participants through creative projects, and helping maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment. They play an essential role in fostering curiosity and collaboration, while also supporting the staff in creating a positive and engaging experience for all visitors. A fingerprint clearance card is required.

A Tynkertopia Marketing Volunteer assists Executive Director, Dr. Alice Christie, in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote the center’s services and financial needs. They help create content for social media, newsletters, and promotional materials, ensuring that Tynkertopia’s mission and fundraising goals reach a wide audience. The volunteer also collaborates with the team to enhance community engagement and support for Tynkertopia’s programs and initiatives.
