Volunteer: Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra Volunteer - Light Unbound

Do you love music? Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra (FSO) is celebrating its 76th season, and we need you to help make our April concert a success!

Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra is looking for volunteers for the April 17th concert evening, which features Poulenc’s Gloria which bursts with joy, reverence, and unexpected humor. Alongside John Adams’ Harmonium fuses minimalist rhythms with lush harmonies and the poetry of John Donne
and Emily Dickinson in a thrilling tour de force.

As a volunteer, you may be responsible for the following:
-Stuffing FSO program booklets with the evening's playbill | 5:00-5:45pm, Ardrey Lobby (second floor)
-Pre-concert reception greeters | 5:45-7:25pm, Kitt Recital Hall Atrium
-Concert ushering and ticket scanning (We are in need of at least four volunteers who would be comfortable using ticket scanners at the door) | 6:30-7:30pm, Ardrey Auditorium 

As a thank you, each volunteer will receive one free admission ticket to the concert.

Volunteer: NAU Undergraduate Symposium Presentation Moderators!

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity is looking for volunteers to help at the upcoming Undergraduate Symposium on April 24th at the High-Country Conference Center.  Come volunteer as an Oral Presentation Moderator!Oral Presentation Moderator will do the following:
- Introduce and organize speakers, ensuring all are in attendance
- Keep speakers and any questions on schedule
- Notify HCCC staff of any AV equipment problems
- Note presenters that did not show

- Where a specific presentation may be taking place;

-How to find a location within the High-Country Conference Center, the Drury, and/or the 1899 Ballroom 

-Explaining where presenters can find their presentation area, where reviewers can find the reviewer area, where support staff are needed etc. 

-How long the Symposium will be going on

-Where/when presentations from specific colleges will be taking place

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity is looking for NAU Staff and Faculty volunteers to help at the upcoming Undergraduate Symposium on April 24th at the High-Country Conference Center.  Come volunteer as a Staff, Faculty, or Grad Student Presentation Reviewer!Note: Volunteers must indicate their;Preferred number of projects to review (up to 15)Preferred field of research to review, if applicable. 


Reviewers:- Role: A reviewer provides guidance, expertise, encouragement, and motivation to student research presenters. We ask reviewers to provide constructive feedback on student presentations and positive reinforcement so that students can get clear guidance on their presentation communication skills to validate and motivate them to persist in their research, scholarly, or creative path. No research experience or expertise required! Reviewers provide feedback on a student's presentation skills.
