Who We Are

Disabled youth and adults are met with constant barriers to inclusive recreation. HCAS makes adventure and recreation accessible to our neighbors, colleagues and friends with disabilities so they can enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle and create memories in the best places Arizona has to offer. Our vision is a world where all barriers to inclusive recreation are removed, and where independence and community are facilitated through accessible recreation. High Country Adaptive Sports has been a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization since 2015. We started solely providing adaptive ski/ride opportunities at Az Snowbowl, and have since expanded to provide diverse, year-round opportunities for our athletes.

What We Do

High Country Adaptive Sports provides adaptive outdoor recreation in northern Arizona, empowering people with disabilities to ski, ride, climb, cycle, and paddle. We operate the largest fleet of adaptive mountain bikes as well as being the only adaptive ski and ride organization in Arizona, reducing barriers to the outdoors while building confidence, community, and lifelong skills.
