The State 48 Hour Film Project is open to Arizona residents, and will take place April 25-27, 2025. The Flagstaff International Film Festival is dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming event for all aspiring and professional filmmakers to come together and celebrate their passion for filmmaking.
Beginning Friday, April 25th at 3:00 PM is the Kickoff Event. At 3:30 PM Teams will choose an envelope to draw a Genre, Character, Line of Dialogue, and Prop to include. Then it’s lights, camera, action!—writing, filming, and editing, before submitting the film by Sunday 3:30 PM. Out-of-the-area filmmakers can submit their film via WeTransfer.
The Film Festival begins on Sunday at 3:30 PM. Films must be between 3 to 5 minutes, excluding credits. The Team with the best film will get their award listed on the Flagstaff International Film Festival’s IMDb. Light refreshments will be offered and there will be networking opportunities.
