Participate in invasive weed management in Kachina Wetlands—an Audubon bird sanctuary and one of the most scenic places in northern Arizona. Learn to identify knapweed and other invasive species, and help promote long-term sustainability of native grasses through the removal of targeted species.
Wear long pants, long-sleeved shirt, sturdy boots, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Please bring water and gloves if you have them. We have a few extra pairs of gloves.
Snacks will be provided for all participants. Sign up for one to three hours and stay for as long as you like.
