Participate in invasive weed management at Kachina Wetlands, an Audubon bird sanctuary and one of the most scenic places in northern Arizona. Learn to identify knapweed and other invasive species, and become part of the solution by helping with their removal, using techniques that promote long-term sustainability of native grasses.
Wear long pants, long-sleeved shirt, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Please bring water and gloves if you have them. We have a few extra pairs of gloves.
Snacks will be provided for all participants. Sign up for one to three hours and stay for as long as you like.
