Join NAU's Center for Service and Volunteerism to set up the 9/11 Flag Memorial Field to honor the 2,977 people who lost their lives on 9/11/2001. We set up the flags at Flagstaff City Hall's lawn as a visual representation of the lives lost, sacrifices made, and a place to reflect on the events of that day.
This is a family-friendly event and children are invited to participate. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes that allow you to move easily and place the flags in the ground.
