Join NAU's Center for Service and Volunteerism to remove the 9/11 Flag Memorial Field to honor the 2,977 people who lost their lives on 9/11/2001. We set up the flags at Flagstaff City Hall's lawn as a visual representation of the lives lost, sacrifices made, and a place to reflect on the events of that day. Volunteers are needed to help remove the flags on the evening of 9/11.
This is a family-friendly event and children are invited to participate. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes that allow you to move easily and remove the flags from the ground.
