NAU's Center for Service and Volunteerism is promoting a volunteer opportunity on behalf of a local non-profit called Acts of Kindness (AOK)
Acts of Kindness is hosting their annual Zombie golf tournament on October 9th and need your help!
Volunteers are asked to arrive to the Aspen Valley Golf Club at 8:00AM - 4:00PM, although if you cannot do this entire time, they also could use help during check-in (8-10 am) or Clean-up (3-6 pm). Let us know what you can do in your response notes. The tournament starts at 9AM but, they want volunteers to have time to grab a breakfast burrito/water and get to their Hole. Also-time is added to eat lunch.
Duties: 2 volunteers per hole
Put Halloween decorations on their hole. Containers will be provided to volunteers at their Holes and after last team plays at their Hole-take down the decorations and put back in containers.
Greet golfers as they come to the tee boxes and hand out goodies/take pictures. Don’t speak while the golfers tee off/hit the balls.
