Want to join your student on a field trip this year? We’d love to have you as a chaperone!
Starting in the 2025 school year, everyone who chaperones field trips, even parents/guardians, must have an approved volunteer packet on file. This was implemented by the District to ensure the safety and security of our students, teachers, and chaperones
1. Create an Axe of Service account to log your volunteer hours.
2. Fill out our FUSD volunteer form online: FUSD Volunteer Form
3. Complete a Background Check Online: BIB Background Check

Teachers will typically reach out to parents to ask for chaperones as they are planning their field trip. Responding to this Volunteer Need is still necessary so we can track our volunteers' impact throughout the school year. For more information, contact our Cromer front office at 928-773-4155.
