Help children build confidence, find joy in reading, and reach their literacy goals. Just a few hours a week can make a lifelong impact.
Tutors support literacy in elementary classrooms 1 day a week for about one hour each day. The Literacy Center provides all training, curriculum, and support for our Raising Readers program.
We are currently partnering with Sechrist, Killip, Thomas, and Cromer elementary schools. Shifts are approximately one hour Monday - Thursday (choose your day).
We especially need tutors at:

Killip: One day a week (you choose), Monday–Thursday, 3:00–4:00 PM

Cromer: One day a week (you choose), Monday-Thursday, 8:45 - 9:30 AM or 1:25 - 2:15 PM.
Please sign up as a Literacy Center volunteer and we will contact you for orientation & training.
