The Coconino Master Gardener Association and Museum of Northern Arizona are hosting their annual plant sale at the Colton Garden with over 30 local growers and creators and 1000+ visitors on May 23rd. Proceeds from the sale support community garden grants. We are looking for volunteers to help manage parking, the most critical volunteer position of the day. This is a great opportunity to grow skills in anticipating the needs of visitors, communicating respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and working as a team to manage a dynamic environment. There are a couple of shifts available for Parking Lot Attendants. This position manages traffic flow, directs public and volunteers to parking lots and spaces. This is a very active position requiring standing and walking during the entire shift. We have two shifts available: 9:30am to 12pm and 12pm to 2pm.
Please sign up for your desired shifts here by May 21st and be sure to record your volunteer hours in Axe of Service!
