The Foster Alliance provides jewelry and accessories both in our Essential Needs program and in Birthday Dreams bags for children in foster care. Handmade beaded friendship bracelets are a great way for children to feel loved/special and to express themselves. Volunteers must provide the materials to make the bracelets. Please read and follow instructions carefully! Once you have competed items, please bring them to SBS West Rm. 6 on NAU campus.
Supplies:
- A variety of beads & charms
- Elastic String
- Scissors
Instructions
- Cut string to desired length (be sure to leave enough room to tie it off at the end)
- Tie one bead onto the string
- Slide other beads onto the string until it reaches desired length
- Grab both ends of the string and tie bracelet together
- Return completed bracelets to The Foster Alliance by appointment or mail at 5200 E Cortland Blvd Flagstaff, AZ 86004
