The Southside Community Association invites you to join us in the garden for June Planting at the Murdoch Friendship Garden - a volunteer-driven communal garden where anyone can take what they need; work if they want.
Located just north of NAU's campus, our goals are to build a more connected and organized community through gardening, while fostering learning and experimentation around food production in our high desert climate. Food grown in our garden supports the Flagstaff Community Fridge - a take what you need; leave what you can model for dignified community food sharing.
For our June Planting Saturday we need help constructing trellises, tomato cages, and planting warm weather crops! We hope to see you in the garden.
